I recorded this in March of 2024, which was sort of the tail end (a very long tail) of the deepest dark night of the soul I’ve had yet. This was one of the rare “good days” in a season of great suffering.
In this season, a refinement was taking place in me, making clear what truly matters and what doesn’t. It was in this time that I returned to an idea that has been important to me since early adulthood, and that is self mastery. Or, self-mastery. ;)
